General Metrics
The general metrics on your main dashboard will provide an overview of your account, tracking revenue, refunds, and transactions. These metrics display total sales across all connected gateways.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Data is gathered based on the local timezone. It is not the same for all users and depends on your current geo localization. Also note, the lifetime balance will not reflect any of the transactions fees associated with the processing and settlement of your customers payments.
Using the drop-down menu on the right-hand side, you can filter your general metrics by time frame:
Revenue Collected:
Total sum of collected revenue in a certain period of time. How is it calculated? Revenue collected = number of sales (subscriptions + one time payments) multiplied by sales price.
Refunds:
Total sum of refunded transactions in a certain period of time.
Approval Rate:
The approval rate is the percentage of transactions that have been accepted out of all the attempted transactions. Note: if you use dunning on subscriptions, then your approval rate may appear lower than expected due to multiple charge attempts to same customers through dunning.
Refunds:
Total sum of refunded transactions in a certain period of time.
Subscription Metrics
Below the general metrics are Subscription Metrics, where you will find an overview of subscribers, canceled subscriptions, new trials, reactivations, subscription changes and churn rate. These results can also be filtered using the date period drop-down on the right-hand side.
Subscription Changes:
Sum of changes in active subscriptions eg. if on a specific day one person will buy a subscription and one will cancel, then the value for that day will be zero.
New Subscriptions:
Count of new subscriptions activated.
Reactivations:
This is the percentage of completed subscriptions that have been reactivated.
Churn Rate:
It is a percentage rate at which customers stop subscribing to a service. How is it calculated?
Churn rate = count of churned subscriptions divided by the total number of subscriptions in the certain period of time.
Gateway Status
Also located on the right-hand side of the dashboard, under Notifications, you will find Gateway Status. This area will list the possible gateways along with the status for each. Possible status are:
