Using Stripe gateway, you can accept international payments from India, when buyers of your goods or services are located outside of India.
Starting July 28, 2021, all international card payments made to businesses based in India will go through 3D Secure (3DS) Authentication. Please ensure that you have 3DS enabled in your Stripe gateway configuration.
For every international payment presented in a non-INR currency to a customer holding a non-Indian card, you’ll need to send Stripe these additional fields. This is for regulatory reporting, required by Stripe's bank partner.
The buyer’s name
Their billing address
Please ensure that you build your funnel to include the capture of your customer's billing address in order to avoid declines.
If you experience any other unknown processing errors from Stripe, please reach out to their support directly for assistance.
If you have any additional questions, please contact our Support Team by clicking the support widget in the bottom right corner of this page or email us at [email protected].
