Gateway Status: Waiting for Connection

Learn what to do when your Payments AI gateway status shows "Waiting for Connection," including common causes like an incomplete onboarding process or a missed step during PayPal setup, and how to contact support.

If your Payments AI gateway status says "waiting for connection," you will need to reach out to support for assistance.

Reasons for this could be:

  • The onboarding process was not completed.

  • There may have been a technical issue when making the connection.

  • Or with regard to PayPal, the "Go back to Rebilly" button was not clicked on.

If your gateway status at any time says "waiting for connection" for more than a few minutes, please reach out to support by clicking the support widget in the bottom right corner or emailing [email protected].
